"The greatest supergroup never to be seen again. Perfect mix of drunken pyschos doing fantastic music that would make the clowns at The Rock and Roll Hall of Lame quake in their booties."
The most fun live album ever!

"If you ever saw them live you would already have this disc. They were so entertaining you might go in your pants. We miss Country Dick. The only weak points are the Mojo songs, but Dick And Dave Alvin more than make up for it."
Where have all the good times gone?

"Like a cattle prod to the base of the spine, you just can't stop moving your feet. On a sweltering summer evening in enchanting Las Vegas, at the now sadly defunct Calamity Janes Nashville Nevada, a motly crew of neer do well musicians took the stage for one final performance. Led by the late, great, Country Dick Montana and featuring the Reverend Mojo Nixon and the incomparable Dave Alvin, the Pleasure Barons laid waste to rock and roll convention. Call it cow punk, psycho-billy, or pure mayhem, this CD is a monument to what makes rock great. It will never happen again. If you weren't there: well now, in spirit you can be.
And, while you listen, you will know when the good times were."
