One of the best "NEVER HEARD" albums

"Pluto is as much punk as they are pop and vice versa. These guys write more memorable hooks than almost every punk/pop band that ever existed. "Regenerate" is worthy of hit-single era Joe Jackson. "Failure," "Blaupunk," "Uncola," "When She Was Happy," and "It's Over" would all be huge hits if they were released today. One of the best albums that "no one ever heard.""
High-energy kick ass fun music!

"If you liked Ned's Atomic Dustbin or Limblifter, you will like the energetic songs of Pluto. The album jolts you awake with the first song, "Regenerate" with the excellent line "I want my ego back, you're gonna pay!". Anyone who has been dumped can commiserate with that! "Black Lipstick", "Paste" and "When She Was Happy" all have memorable hooks and great riffs. If you like ballads, you will be disappointed, but if you want your angst expressed in an energetic, positive way, this is a great album to choose."
Gone - but hopefully not forgotten!

"There are countless bands that qualify for the 'criminally overlooked' category, and one of those on my my list for 10 years has been Pluto. A Canadian power-pop band often misdiagnosed post-mortem as a Green Day wannabe, they ran circles around the radio fodder of that era. I was hooked the first time I heard the pulsing bass line and perfectly produced power crunch guitar riff that led into their first single "Paste" on their major label debut. Any self-respecting power-pop fan deserves to own this steering wheel-pounding, distorted speaker-rattling gem. I have never tired of listening to it after 10 years. One of my 'top 10 desert island" records."
