"This is another bonafide classic pop song from the Pooh Sticks. "Cool In A Crisis" is an unsung hit from a band which is exactly like Frosted Flakes cereal... They're GREAT!
Featuring a super catchy chorus, complete with harmonies and hooks, and a rockin' Ace Frehley(!)style lead guitar, this is pure pop that totally rocks, and should have been a hit. As usual, the lyrics are funny and sincere at the same time. This track is one of many great tunes, from the "Optimistic Fool" album,(this cd single also features 2 non LP tracks for the collector)which was the band's final album from 1995. The Pooh Sticks may have disbanded, but their music will live forever, at least in my stereo! Rock on Hue, Trudy, and the gang...
