"I just might be biased because I am in the group (but not on the CD) but this is quite good. Sure there are better taiko cd's out there, but Portland Taiko is a rising star of the taiko scene. This is a perfect opportunity to be a music snob. you can buy this CD and after we go huge you can say "Well, I was listening to them years ago." The music itself is very good, with influences from clasical to hip hop that show the diverse background of the members, and the bonus track of the story of Amaterasu is hillarious."
