"I love this recording! The best part about it is Ron Nelson's Passacaglia. I have six recordings of that single piece, and this is the best one! It is so intense, and the fermata at the end almost seems like it will never end! John Adams' Short Ride in a Fast Machine is always a treat to listen to. The music of Frank Ticheli is very intriguing in its rhythmic complexities and musical language. I had never heard of Bob Margolis' Terpsichore before I heard this album. I think it is a wonderful piece, and an excellent interpretation of the styles and moods of the Renaissance dance pieces. Suite Francaise is a great piece as well. There is so much to love in this album, a wonderful compilation! Played with brilliance and conducted with passion. I cannot say enough about this recording. BUY IT! BUY IT NOW!"
