"Many people in the United States just know the main stars of the music industry. A couple examples are Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, and *Nsync. In Europe, many teenagers get our music after three months after it came out in the U.S. The teenagers in Italy, Switzerland, and France love more variety. They do not always stick to the same music. Prezioso had a wide variety sort of music which may sound strange to us."

"This is a very good dance cd. If you like trance remixed with a little eurodance this is the cd to get. They have a lot of nice songs on this album!!"

"Prezioso is a key group from the italo dance movement and is a made up of two brothers and their vocalist friend, Marvin. The Prezioso brothers have been on the dance music scene since the mid-90's producing excellent Italian dance music. However, as a collaboration, this is the first album for Prezioso and Marvin together. Italian dance music is not the same as dance/trance/eurodance music from elsewhere in Europe. Italo dance (as it is called) has a much slower beat and the synths are more heavily layered (which of course is the evolved sound of Italo Disco in today's form). Italo dance began in 1998 when eurodance had already been dead and the only successful dance music coming out of Italy was dream dance, and that was beginning to die off as well. The rest of Europe was enjoying progressive dance, trance, and house music. The Italians probably would have followed the rest of Europe, but Eiffel 65 released "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" which became the biggest dance song of 1998. As a result, literally 1000's of songs later, the italo dance genre is still kicking it in 2005. Prezioso would become a leader of this genre from 1998 thru 2001, pumping out dance songs with the trademark Italian style sound. And of course, this album features every awesome song that Prezioso pumped out during the first few years of the italo dance explosion that happened all over Italy and the rest of Europe!



Why is Prezioso and Marvin such an excellent trio? Several reasons: first, because the trio has successfully created hit after hit for a period of several years straight (Tell Me Why, Back To Life, Voices, Rock The Discothek). Second, Marvin is one of the best male vocalists on the scene. And third, the album is basically flawless - there is not one bad song on their debut album! If you've never listened to Prezioso and Marvin, be sure to check this album out - it's well worth it!"
