I absolutely hate it...and kind of like it at the same time.

"I respect Paul's view of the music industry, and in exectuting a record which basically mocks the modern sounds. I totally get what he was trying to do here..and I give him points for creating something that is sonically different from his other works, and doing it pretty well. The problem is that..since the music for the most part DOES sound like modern hip hop, it was very hard for me to listen to it. To me it doesn't show Prince Paul for who he is, which is what I really wanted to hear. The only track that I could really feel personally is "Chubb Rock, can you please pay Paul the $2200 that you owe him." It uses the beat from "Pease Poridge" from De Le Soul is Dead. It is the last track on the cd (sort of) and is the antithesis of everything you have heard before it...which is why I decided to give this album 4 stars instead of the 3 I was initially going to give it. That was a great way to end a album about politics...by basically lauging in it's face."

"Politics of the buisness is another classic by the most brilliant producer of all time Prince Paul. If you love the great production and long list of very gifted and great M.C's on his previous album A prince amoung thieves then you will definitley love Politics of the buisness. My man Paul came thru once again with track after track of ill nasty beats that are definitley a few steps ahead of the rest of the game and the M.C's on this album are the illest in the game. A true hip hop fan who appreciates ill wordplay and fantastic beats would certainly love this album but for y'all who want to hate ya'll can just go bump G-unit and Daddy Yankee and all that other wack crap out there!"
