"punchline has changed majorly with their new release "37 everywhere". i appreciate/respect the change, though i still find myself digging their earlier works much more.
it's all in your taste. what you get with "37 Everywhere" is a more polished/original form of music rooting from pop punk and then taken in their own direction, and that is why i respect and proudly own this album. these days it's all about being original. their earlier works were pretty cliche and overused, but even then they had their differeneces, and i have came to the conclusion that even though it was overplayed back then, i still liked their earlier stuff more.
don't get me wrong, i still listen to this cd ALOT! every punchline fan should own this album. they came a long long way to get this far, and i think the cd is awesome. the only reason i gave a 3/5 rating is because a part of me wishes they would still be the band they used to be...but it is always good to see growth & change as well.
well done guys. well done.
