"For lack of commercial mass appeal, ambient Electronica has remained the underdog of the
Electronica phenomenon. For those who shiver at the idea of ever buying a new age recording, or listening to the chant of whales underwater, there's much solace to be found in the sophisticated "LUSH LIFE ELECTRONICA". As the frenzy, and the noise of the outside quiet down, layers of beautiful atmospheric splendor take over, while the intricacy of a million quiet sounds and rhythms set the listener on an introspective journey that parallels our world, but makes it a gentler place."

"I found all the tracks to be rather satisfying, but I especially fell into a deep relaxation when I surrendered to "Earthfall (Nuron Mix)" by Phenomyna. Ambient is changing the musical scenery, and thank God for that. In a world where the music on most radio stations sounds pretty much the same everywhere, it is exquisitely wonderful to know that music like this is transporting discerning listeners to another expressive dimension, another place in time and space altogether. Sorry "alternative nation", but ambient is the new, and true, alternative to commercial radio rubbish."
Thought Provoking!!

"Wonderful....thought provoking...mellow....soft and gentle...but energetic! It's sad...happy...positive..and mind bending. If you need some background music to write to or study to...it's perfect."

"After hearing track 2, "Astral Travels" by Sunrise Society on SomaFM a few weeks ago, I did some research and found out that it's only available on this album. I figured I'd take the calculated risk and buy the whole thing. I was not disappointed in the least. The album met my expectations perfectly, and I've been listening to it a lot lately, especially sitting in traffic in the car or when I'm winding down for bed. I especially like trax 1-4, but the whole album is great. If you're a fan of ambient music, or dreamy electronica, this is for you. It'll take you places."
I should ahve reviewd this earlier...

"the record lable, Quango, has to have outdone themselves with this compilation because it is absolutley gorgeous. i should hav reviewed it back when i first purchased it 3 years ago, but i never did...hm?...well, anyways, this the quintessential elctricona compilation, with it's soft beats and intellectual severity, "Lush Life" will bring you into a trance of tye-dye and godly expression. i highly reccomend it to writers and artists alike, but also to anyone who is curious about electricona and other "other music". too bad mainstream america has not accepted this into their "produce". with all the bad music (aka CRAP) that is taking over the airwaves, something well done is a fresh breath of air. Buy "Lush Life", you will certainly not be disappointed!"
