CD ReviewsIL TEMPO DELLA GIOIA Apolonio R Gonzalez A | el paso texas., texas United States | 04/15/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "five are the tracks included in this second album.the first of them,"villa Doriab pamphilli"it seeks to be home to thr first festival in which highlighted, and it is a very synmphonic track.the fragment in which a harp is accompanied by a quasi-orchestra is sublime, and the violin and the voice are magnificent next"A forma di" it is an almost instrumental cut to the classic music.the violins play a quick tempo, accompanied by a very lyrical flute and a playful clavicembalo. The choirs don't lag behind, adorning and sculpting the main melody. the third gives title to the album and it allows to establish the main difference between this work and the previous one.now the instruments play more among them and they intertwine their sound roads.in Quella Vecchia LOcanda the leaders, very clear, were the violin and the moog. Now,the cut is introduced by the piano, the violins and the voice that open the way to a melodic instrumental tangle,The alone ones you happens quickly and with spectacular changes.Dynamism to the limit. "un giorno un amico" is very close to the classical music with jazz touches.it is a very lyrical and melodic track, highlighting the solo violin and the trumpet.this is a one album wonderful excellent and highly recommended." Major classic, one of the best from Italy 02/22/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "Can't describe this other than Bach-like classical melodies meet the best of jazz/rock with plenty of romanticism to go around. For violen-lovers, this album is a must. A very beautiful album that is impossible to get tired of. Their first s/t is slightly different but just as good and essential. Guess I should also say that you need the Alusa Fallax album, Celeste albums, and Locanda Della Fate album if you like Quella Vecchia Locanda.Buy this album (and their first s/t from 1972) without hesitation. Also, if you like Quella Vecchia Locanda, check out the album "Velha Gravura" by Quaterna Requiem (a 1990's outfit from Brazil) as it's also chocked with violens and classical melodies and romanticism." Wonderful Music Jan Claus Di Blasio | Castel Gandolfo, Rome,Italy | 09/15/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "My uncle is Claudio Filice, the violinist from the second group. we were talking of his experience right now and he was thinking of putting the band together again to make a few new cd's. I've listened to his music, he teaches violin in Molise now and has made music for many itaian movies ,and I must say that his rock stands among the best of its time, including Matia Bazar, Genesis and Pooh. I think it's well worth listening to, the instrumental and the lyrics are fabulous."
