"By far his best record to date. Includes the regional hit "9-4-9"!"

"I recently went to see the Cramps and this guy and his wife(backup vocals and maracuas) played just before. I don't think anyone in the room knew who he was but boy once he started playin his organ we all went crazy. He's a one man band maniac from New Orleans who invented his own drum machine called a "drum buddy". As for the music, its blues, rock n roll, gospel, and...well just have a listen. I can bet that this guy is going to be big one day. Truly a talented rock n roll genius. If I cold only afford the cd :( BUY THIS! Quintron is amazing."

"Mr. Quintron & his wife Ms. Pussycat are well know in NOLA for their awesome, funky, high energy live shows. I was fortunate enough to live in New Orleans and catch a couple of his shows. If you ever see this guy roll into town, do yourself a favor and check him out. His organ playing is mighty & his beats come from a self created analog percussion system (Drum Buddy) that uses beams of light to active different beats and sounds. Very cool stuff, especially when he pours lighter fluid into the thing, fires it up (literally) and sratches & spins mad beats while flames pour out. He used to sell them a year or two back...As for the disc, the production leaves a little to be desired, and you may not take to it right away if you haven't seen him live. The sound is somewhat muted, which is especially disapointing when you really turn it up to try to recreate the energy of his live show and it sounds like the speakers are buried out in the backyard. But with a couple of spins it will grow on you. Some of my favorites are Hurricane "the big one's comming", a saying that you hear every hurricane season, where people anticipate the category five storm that will wipe New Orleans clean off the map, 949, a marching band influeneced call to arms that really rocks the house, and White man style. Definately worth checking out!"
