Racionais MCs back with a mega-hit CD

"Racionais MCs pioneered Brazilian hip-hop from the depths of poverty in Sao Paulo's Zona Sul. For all fans of old west coast: this is real gangsta hip-hop. If you have to buy one international rap CD, look no further. I personally like the first CD better... more emotion. "Vida Louca [Parte 1]" may be their biggest hit of all time... my other two favorite tracks on this album are "Negro Drama" and "Vida E Desafio".
Why Brazilian hip-hop is as good as American hip-hop:
1. Do not doubt the production abilities. The beats are tighter than Dr. Dre's, heavy gangsta sh*t, with smooth deep bass.
2. The topics are very uplifting and remain positive for the poor communities, which seems to be missing from American hip-hop these days. The energy is incredible. Get your Brazilian friend to translate the lyrics, and you will see what I mean."
The best group

"This is the new album from the best rap group from Brazil. Altough I think the last one was better than this, this is a collector item. They are more sexist, even violent in this album, strong lyrics and heavy beats created by DJ K-L Jay. Listen and enjoy it."
