"Just as Rammstein has experimented with style in their album release "Reise, Reise", they have experimented in "Keine Lust". Every remix stands by itself in style, and the end result is outstanding. I actually find myself listening to this single more than their album! However, do not expect to be blown away by it. At first I was very ill favoured toward the single, but over time, the songs grow on you. In fact, my number one most listened to song by Rammstein (according to Windows Media Player play counts) is the Bozz Remix. While other singles may grant instant gratification, "Mein Teil" for instance, "Keine Lust" proves its worth in the long run, and is much more worth the money and replay value - perhaps even more thean the original album itself!



For those with not-so-open minds; a rather bland, monotone taste in music; or concern regaurding the content of the songs, rest assured you should be able to find at least one song that you like, because of the range of styles. There is Clawfinger's subtle revamp of the original, which if nothing else just is just a fresh listening experience without really offering anything groundbreakingly new to the original. The third track is the least reminiscent of the original, and strikes well nigh of Avant-Gardeishness, though at its core it is a slow paced dance song with few vocals. The Bozz remix may be most deserving of the remix title, as it is a fast paced dance song, without altering the fundamentals. The Jazz Remix is self explanatory, and the Black Strobe Remix is the third and final dance version. What separates the Strobe is the vocals have actually been altered - to something much darker and sinister. The Curve Remix could be deemed the chopped and screwed version; most of the track is played backwards, and the entire thing is pieced together with about as much chronological predictability as "Pulp Fiction". The last track is, at the core, a country song (and a great one at that!), yet it sounds very much like Rammstein.



If you like Rammstein, you're entering a world of pain by not buying this single."
