his love of blues and blues-rock.
Ramon originally established himself as the guitarist, chief songwriter,
producer, and driving force behind acclaimed British band NuBlues. He
also worked with Senegalese star Diabel Cissokho, and his most recent new
venture is the West African Blues Project.
For this collection, Ramon and his fellow musicians sought to go back to the
days when musicians made music together regardless of what genre they
came from; a time when jazz and blues were easy bedfellows.
