This is some HatHut best production ever. Lacy and Blake with Ricky Ford explore with deep intellectual and emotional feeling the great George Gershwin's legacy, respectful for the melodies, almost singing the famous texts. A close listen will surely be rewarded with 'magical' surprises, stunning use of dynamics and spaces (I am speaking about Masters, indeed); no trivial playing here, no superficial quoting or post-modernism.
