"This soundtrack is 5 stars. I know this because I listened to my friend's. I never received mine fromrecordmark@choiceonemail.com through Amazon and I never received my soundtrack and when I asked him about it. He replied "F*ck you, a*shole!" but without the asteriks. He signed it:

"Sincerely,

"Probably some of Randy Newman's best work, goes along with the movie, which creates an emotion, which is exactly what I feel a movie and it's score is supposed to do."
A little piece of poetry in a rough world

"Now, i know this title sounds a bit girlie, but that's really how i feel when i listen to this music.

I remember watching the film when i was about 15: it was one of my first "serious" movies (as opposed to Terminator 2 for instance). I really liked it, probably watched the rented tape twice before handing it over...

I also remember that:

- The movie hasn't been a hit (at least not in France where i live), despite the great work of both Robin Williams and Robert de Niro.

- I immediately bought the score, as i was already a big fan of original soundtracks at that age.

Last but not least, i want to say that of all the work of Randy Newman, this is probably the most sensitive piece and personally, surely the only one i'll ever like (not a big fan of him, otherwise). And "Dexter's Tune" (track 12) is indubitably one of the most beautiful piano tunes i've ever heard: it has that light jazzy feeling but also a very dark side in some of the chords...

Anyway, go buy that thing, you'll like it!"
