"This was truly a great CD. I bought it when I bought the Opening Theme Song CD. I personally prefer this one over the that one, but that's just me. This CD is great for any Ranma fan, and any other person who just likes good music. Some of these songs are energetic and uplifting, but my favorite one 'Hinageshi [Poppy Flower]' was a slow, sad-sounding one. Also, the booklet that comes with this CD is excellent, because it has the japanese lyrics and also the english translation. So, you can sing along and know what you're singing! Wonderful CD!"

"I am rather upset over the redneck's review of this album. I mean Spanish, Japanese slight difference you think? But it's not all his fault Sailor Moon's extensive Americanization has led many people to believe that it is American in origin. Someone looking into things similar to Sailor Moon, as Ranma is, might exect them to be in English. But all he would have to do s simply listen to it a few times, the difference in languages is obvious. Or you could also watch the CREDITS on Sailor Moon, another clue to it's origin Mr. Alabama."
Excellent, but...

"This CD is so great! I already loved Ranma and Nishio Etsuko, so when I saw it, I bought it immediately. I was surprised by how good it was, considering the overly kawaii Jajauma on the Opening Songs CD. I expected this to be just as cloyingly kawaii! Boy was I wrong... ^-^ But! My only problem with it is the liner notes... they're incomplete! At least two of the songs (Platonic Tsuranuite and Don't Mind, Rai Rai Boy) don't have all their lyrics printed! Che! But having Morikawa-san on the CD makes it all better...^-^(Let's not all be too surprised about the person who thought it was Spanish...they can't spell *English* yet! Argh!)"
I like the Japanese lyrics

"I love listening to all the Ranma songs, and as a note to the previous reviewer THE SONGS ARE IN JAPANESE NOT SPANISH. Even in the translated shows of Ranma the songs are in Japanese."
Great Music, Even if not a Ranma Fan!

"The closing themes to "Ranma 1/2" aren't as well known as their opening counterparts, mostly because people skip to the next episode track on the DVD or fast-forward to the next episode on the video. These songs, however, are more complex and intricate than the lively opening themes, and definitely deserve to be heard. Like the opening themes, these are not performed by the Ranma characters, with the exception of the upbeat "Lambada Ranma." "Hinageshi (Poppy Flower)" is absolutely melodic and wistful, while "Purezento (Present)" hints at what may come between Akane and Ranma. There's yet another version of "Ikaru Romansu (Equal Romance)" on this CD (there are DOCO Japanese, DOCO English, and a shorter version of this one out there as well), plus many closing themes not yet known very well because their seasons have not been released in the US. All in all, a great collection of music for listening, even if you're not a Ranma fan."
