Vocalist Raquel Bitton's new CD Boleros is an extraordinary French-Latin Jazz album celebrating the music of Armando Manzanero, Consuelo Velasquez, Augustin Lara, Wello Rivas, Isolina Carrillo, Don Fabián, Joaquin Rodrigo, Osvaldo Farrés, Tino Rossi and other legendary composers. 11 time Grammy award winner Rafa Sardina engineered this recording. Raquel Bitton sings in both Spanish and French and is accompanied by a lush 30 piece orchestra (with full reed & string section) featuring a number of top Latin Jazz musicians including Ramon Stagnaro on acoustic guitar, Rebeca Mauleon on piano, Cuban timbalists Orestes Vilato & Jesus Diaz. The CD cover illustration is by award winning artist Martin French (Los Lobos, The Chronicles of Narnia). Included is an exquisite 20 page Booklet with Spanish and French Lyrics, and biographies of each composer as well as historical research on the birth of the Bolero.

"I have several of Raquel Bitton's CD's and I have seen her in her movie, 'Piaf Her Story, Her Songs' and she was fabulous in all of them, but I have to say that she has out done herself with 'Boleros'. The music is so beautiful and seductive. Raquel sings just as magnificently in Spanish as she does in French. The musicians she has playing with her are world class. I would recommend this CD to everyone. Sit back, sip a glass of wine with your lover and enjoy!"
