CD Reviews70's German Electronic Music BW | Toronto, Canada | 03/30/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "Material - Moebius and Plank were members of the 70's German band Cluster of which Roedelius was also a member. All three have released solo CD's combined or with other artists. Material, which I have on vinyl contains about eight tracks - all instrumental. In some cases there are no rhythym instruments (drums, bass) and what you have are long sequences of repeated synthesizer sound scapes. It is almost hypnotic over a period of time. The feeling in a lot of the tracks is quite reflective. This is quite different than the current type of music referred to as electronic music. BW Toronto, Canada"
