What a life story!

"Ray Kennedy has an interesting story. His dad was the man behind the Discover credit card and at one time was vice-president of Sears. When Ray's parents refused to buy him a guitar as a teen, he built his own! This album was produced by Ray Kennedy and he also plays most ol the instruments on it! He also wrote or co-wrote all of its songs. And he recorded it entirely in his home studio! I love this album and I think it's a shame that more people aren't aware of Ray Kennedy outside of the music circle of country music. Very memorable tunes."

"When the title song was a hit in the early nineties, everthing was in high gear with Garth and Clint, so this quiet artist wasn't ever noticed. The cd itself is a small masterpiece. Kennedy is a fantastic guitarist and producer. Pick this up if you can, as it has become very rare."
