"By the time their third album hit the the shelves ready for the world's formula was fading down, this album lacked the potential that made their first two albums "Ready for the world'' and ''long time coming'' classics, but with the rise of new jack swing and lots of new artists emerging ready for the world tries to adapt to this trend with the first single "my girly''which is a light classic upbeat new jack track with a catchy chorus, and the second single ''gently''which is one of their strongest ballads, lead singer melvin riley jr's vocals really shine on this track, although this album wasnt a big on the charts or went platinum like their debut this is still a good album, even though with its age it seems dated but its good for those nastolgic 80's music lovers, this album is strickly for die hard Ready for the World and new jack swing fans. 1991's ''Straight Down to Business'' is the follow up to this album."
