"well, it took some time, but i finally got this 'best-of' of a grouip i had never heard of until i heard the sounds of these guys on a mix cd compiled by jason kay, leader and lead singer of brit-funk group jamiroquai. the track that i heard was an instant classic upon hearing it, which was "raining through my sunshine", which after a few listens ends up sounding like the best r&b single of the 70's that didn't become a hit here in the states(these cats are from england, y'all.) in 2005, i heard another track, the heavily space-funkdafied killer horn stomp of "can you feel the force?", which i played almost every damn weekend for a few months straight!!! talk about appreciation for all things you haven't heard of in awhile!!! both of these songs are on this cd, although in edited versions, as some other ones are, too. but don't let that stop you from enjoying some of the other fine tracks from these cats, including their first hit "you to me are everything", and some other hard partying hits! after this, i assure you that you will have been blessed by giving a sweet listen to "the real thing"!"
