CD ReviewsGet ready to boogie! 04/10/2001 (4 out of 5 stars) "This is a wonderful cd that represents the "rebirth" of jazz in New Orleans. The raw energy of upbeat jazz is what this album is about. Rebirth covers some oldie but goodies with a new, powerful twist and also offers some original boogie music, gauranteed to "keep that body shaking". The title track is a strong rump-shakin' song that glorifies celebrating in the street. Rebirth has been around and risen to stardom by playing constantly at the Maple Leaf. They have steadily climbed the Jazz fest stages and have played the main stages in recent years."
