Completely amazing choro album

"Wow ! You can't listen to this without being blown away by the virtuosity of the players and the tightness of the ensemble playing. The mandolin playing is great, but the 7 string work is unbelievably fine.

A few standards and a lot of newer and lesser known compositions: and overall the quality of composition, arrangement, and performance is stunning. Minor quibble with the mix, which is a little bit tinny, but the recording was made in 1989."
