"This was the very first Native American CD I purchased online without ever hearing about the group. This compilation of traditional speaking and singing with Rock sounds and lyrics is the best! You can't help but get caught up in the music. The CD leaves you wanting more from this wonderfully talented group of young American Indian men. The words are haunting and spell bounding. This is a CD you can listen to over and over and never tire of. Thank you to Red Thunder for putting into words and music thoughts I have had for a very long time!"

"This CD reaches out and grabs your soul. Anyone who cannot acknowledge this message has a heart of stone - but the music can break through even that.So begins the journey.I cannot understand how this group has been in the shadows for so long. Red Thunder's music combines contemporary rock with wonderful interludes of Native American sounds. Even within the "rock" one can hear the Native instruments and rythymn. The lyrics cannot be denied; they are well versed, powerful, and appropriately set. While a call is made for "revolution", another is made for change with "courage and prayer." In a world filled with violence - with our children killing each other in schools - this message is one ALL need to hear. For it is not a message of aggression but to end the apathy. ....If I call this CD inspirational - I'm selling it short. If I call it commercially dynamic - I catering to the almighty dollar. So, I will call it what it is - a great piece of music that anyone will enjoy!"
This CD has and will be an inspiration to me.

"This CD was purchased during the time I was deep into researching my Indian heritage. I seen the video of "Red Thunder" while watching a T.V. show with my two younger children. Once I seen the video, I knew I needed to find the CD for my very own. I asked my girlfriend in Colorado where and who are these people. And had she ever heard of them. Her answer was yes and they would be playing for a benefit for the "N.A.T.I.V.E.S." program that she had started. The program supports the Native peoples right to practice their traditional beliefs. This CD I feel does the very same. I truly would like to hear more from the group at some point. Their music is not only soothing but touches places that sometimes go untouched for many reasons. Looking forward to hearing more."

"I have owned this tape for two years now, and have played it to death, so I am getting another....you will never tire of Red Thunders driving rhythms, and soul stirring ballads...This group is in tune with the Earth, their culture, and modern society, proving that culture and change can not only blend and merge in many areas. Their music flies high above other music of this genre! Kudos to red Thunder for their strong support of NA causes, and music that drives the spirit back to a time when all that mattered was sun, wind, sky, the land, and The People!"

"An excellent CD which blends First Nation tradition with contemporary style. It provides insight into customs and traditions which have long been misunderstood and misrepresented. It is commendable that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the protection of the sacred lands."
