CD Reviews

The REDNEX are back!!!
11/21/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"REDNEX took long, long time to release Album no. 2, but finally: HERE IT IS!!! It contains the European No. 1 Hit "The Spirit of the Hawk", the Top 30 Song "The Way I Mate" and their up-coming ballad-single "Hold Me for a while". But there are even more good reasons to buy that Album: "Devil went down to Georgia", a remake of an country-classic, "Get the truck loaded", "Is he alive and many, many more.... So don't forget to buy it!!! (....)"
Farm Out is Just as good as Sex & Violins. Same Rednex style

"If you were impressed with the way Rednex covered "Cotton Eyed Joe" on Sex & Violins, you will definitely like what they did with "Devil Went Down To Georgia" on Farm Out- which also includes great hits as "Get The Truck Loaded", "Where You Gonna Go", and "Way I Mate" as Rednex continues to bring their brand of original instruments of country music they play themselves and techno pop with drum machines and soundboards together to blend for great dance music. Farm Out is just as good as Sex & Violins. If you like pop, techno, country or any of the combinations of those music- you will love Farm Out. If you don't have either, Sex & Violins is also well worth considering."

"Just when I thought the Rednex were--musically speaking--finished, they release a second album: FARM OUT.Just recently, I heard all the songs on this album. And my favorite songs are 'Spirit Of The Hawk' and 'The Devil Came Down To Georgia'."
