"Very very tough to find, but once you get it, it's worth the trip. Remi-Quartet is a band based out of France I think, and they specialise in the New Bossa Nova/Jazz/beats scene. Featuring good musicianship and nice rythmes with a beautiful voice singing, they're pretty impressive. I'd like to rate them as a mix between UK's "Los Ladrones" and... old school Bossa Nova lyrics mixed with US soulful jazz. I can't really describe it too well. I can tell you that it's NOT like Smoke City or Da Lata or Zuco 103. Jazzy, smooth, and features Salome De Bahia on vocals on select tracks. Pick this one up if you can. If you're into that sort of music scene, ala the music in ESL Jet Society/Brazilectro 1 or 2, then you'll enjoy this album. Incidentally, this is somewhat like a remix album - Psycodelico was released in the mid nineties and features a smooth track on Paris Lounge 1. And if you enjoy this, check out "Psycodelico", which is the original version of this release."
