"As a kid, I remember how kind and generous my second uncle was (Rene Herrera). Now that I am older, I realized the reason for his kindness and it reflects on the very same songs that made them who they are. These were songs that I listen to when I was just a little boy and barely remember, until recently when in the mid-ninties their music was digitally remastered and re-released. I just recently purchased my first music CD, and it was then I realized how great this music really was and still is. I highly recommend this CD to anyone, especially people who are collector's or are devoted musicians who appreciate some of the first and best Latin artists who's music was the first to brake down barriers, and crossover to the American music scene."

"This song I gave as a present to my girlfriend(Now My Wife) in 1971. Its one of the nicest songs I heard. Its nice to find it back on a CD after 29 years. We were both very excited."
