"I'm a midwife, and this is my all-time favorite album to play on my way to a birth. It's wonderfully inspiring and allows me to shed mundane cares and helps me to shift into the light space that is helpful in attending a labor and birth. The music is light and lyrical, and the lyrics are emotionally and spiritually very supportive. I can't think of better music for a pregnant woman to listen to. I call this music "audio prozac" because of the way it reliably lifts my spirits and lightens my mood. Some of my clients have also used it to reduce prenatal anxiety, facilitate let-down during breastfeeding, reduce postpartum depression, and calm a fractious baby. It's a winner!"
