Rush Hour With Love Single

"Although this CD has yet to be released in the US, I happened across it in London and it grew on me immediately. Republica's self titled album had an energy filled pulse rarely seen in mainstream, and especially in so called "pop", music. From Rush Hour With Love, the first single from Speed Ballads, continues this adrenaline based techno fed punk and pop mix well, but the true gem of this CD is undoubtedly the B-Side releases. World Ends in the Morning, and Clone My Soul offer departures from the band's usual fare by stripping down the group's highly produced sound into a more natural and even organic sounding recording. Moreso than what one can find on the albums, this recording shows how Republica can bridge the gap between punk, techno, alternative, and pop. This CD is a definite must-have for anyone who enjoys these genres."
