Product DescriptionWhat can be said about Detroit, Michigan's Rescue that is not impressive? The band released an EP, a full length, a split 7", played 6 tours (nearly 200 shows), caught the attention of producer Ross Robinson (Blood Brothers, At the Drive-In, Glassjaw, Korn, etc.) and has earned fans across North America, all within a mere three years and all without management or booking agencies. They are the true essence of a DIY band. Rescue formed in late 2000 as a side project for Al Scheurman(x-Mycomplex), Sean Clancy(Wafflehouse*), Mike Majewski(Wafflehouse*), and Brian Southall(Fordirelifesake) but quickly became top priority when they started receiving recognition for their efforts. This double disc contains both their debut EP, "Even People and Not the Odds" and their full length "Volume Plus Volume," both of which were recorded by Mark Haines(Hey Mercedes, Braid, Rainer Maria) at Smart Studios in Madison, WI. The records were originally released by Dead Droid Records in 2002. In addition, this double disc collection includes 2 unreleased songs with their new drummer, Ryan Clancy(Wafflehouse*, Grayson), as well as their first demo and a techno remix of "Like Spaceships."
