"I love this CD. My daughter uses it to go to sleep, and also to wake up in the morning. I listen to it at work and in the car and find it a wonderful salve for the pressures of daily life. Although it's quiet and relaxing, the music is also interesting, making it a good choice for relaxing day time listening as well as for help your little one (or you) fall asleep easily. From the title you might guess that it's children's music, but all except one of the tracks (which is contemporary) it is all classical pieces beautifully played and recorded. Three of the tracks are the suite "Children's Cradle", which was created for this CD by Sergio Assad, and they're worth the whole CD. The remaining 14 tracks are pieces from various composers. The sound quality is just perfect, and the playing is beautiful.Sadly, the 3 parts of the beautiful "Children's Cradle" do not appear in order on the CD. The producers tried to arrange the tracks with the busiest pieces occuring first and the quietest tracks occuring last. That means that to hear the suite as it was written, you must program your CD to play tracks 6, 7, and 1 in that order. Most strangely, the track "Sunday Morning Overcast" appears fairly late in the CD (track 11 out of 17), although it is one of the livelier pieces. Its contemporary sound is also oddly out of place on this CD of mostly classical pieces, although it is a beautiful piece in its own right. These are minor flaws in an otherwise perfect CD."
Beautiful compositions and gorgeous playing

"Ricardo Cobo is a classical guitar listener's dream. I heard Ricardo's Tales of the Guitar and recognized his gift as a powerful player. Now finally with Quiet Time he truly shows us his virtuosity by being able to shine with a soft and romantic touch as well. Bravo!!!"
What a perfect night time CD!

"This CD doesn't leave the player in my son's room. It's the most perfect thing to lull little ones to sleep, and, even years after buying it, I never tire of it."
You do not know 'Classical Guitar' if you don't know Ricardo

"I have been involved in producing Classical Guitar events and recordings for over twenty years. I have attended masterclasses with the most prestegious players. I consider Ricardo one of the most significant players in the world. It is meaningless to compare artists in terms of 'best' or better than each other. More valuable is recongnizing how much integrity is in an artist's playing. Every piece Ricardo plays sounds like it was written exclusively for him to play and for you to hear. I love his playing - he is a wonderful person - and without a doubt the finest introduction to the 'classical guitar' that any young person should experience.
