"I'm stunned and honored to be the first person to post a review of this album. This was my favorite CD the year it came out. Several of the cuts tingle my spine with their passion and instrumentation, even in 2004. Just as fresh today as it was then. How is it that he has avoided the limelight all these years?

A major talent waiting to be rediscovered."

"A stunning tour de force of songwriting, arranging and performing by Richard Barone (formerly of the Bongos). "Clouds Over Eden" reminds me of John Lennon, and Barone is one of the few pop/rock figures whose work can stand up to such a comparison. These songs are personal, but not in the unbearably self-absorbed "confessional" style so prevalent these days. Superb craft combined with substance and style--an unbeatable combination."
