CD ReviewsGet It While You Can! Andrew Stevenson | Union Springs, New York | 08/23/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "I first heard pianist Richie Beirach on an LP from the early 1980s titled "Rendevous." Regrettably I don't think it was ever released on CD. But Beirach's "Common Heart" has and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves gorgeous solo piano work. Beirach explores nine pieces including two of his own compositions. One of them, "The Last Rhapsody," was also performed on the "Rendevous" LP. It alone is worth the price, but all of the pieces here are outstanding. I have the feeling that this CD will not be around for long so get it while you can. I'm glad I have my copy!"
