Very inspired solo piano from the master

"Sea airs, recorded in 1989, is another solo piano release along with the "air" cd's (night airs and country airs). Personally, I think Sea airs is the best of this trilogy, with kind of sad, minor-key songs. It is an easy-going cd ideal for quiet relaxation."
One of Wakeman's best, yet most unrecognized gems

"My Rick Wakeman collection exceeds 60 (sixty!) CDs. Only a handful of them are as beautiful, touching and inspiring as Sea Airs (IMO the best of the "Airs" trilogy). Each piano song on Sea Airs is exceptional and played on accoustic piano (a major plus). Title songs are spot on, giving you an idea of what is to come (ie. Sailor's Lament, The Mermaid, The Harbour, Clouds, Lost at Sea, et al). The songs are very evocative and melancholic, yet overflowing with melody and beauty. It makes no differenece if you are into heavy, power, black, doom, speed, thrash metal, pop, hip-hop or rap, Sea Airs will keep you satisfied and in complete musical equilibrium. Do yourself a favor and get this CD asap!"
