"This cd was first released in Japan, and only after long months has it become available here. This is a high quality collection, with high quality collaborations. As said by the other reviewer, nothing less than Al Jarreau, but also a fantastic female vocalist (Bridget) who can perhaps make interesting things as a solo artist in the near future (ask Will Downing what he thinks of her ! ). It is a drummer's album, but despite he plays excellently, don't expect the "typical" album with long solos of drums or individual virtuosity. You'll have to listen closely to hear how well Ricky Lawson plays on this record. Technically perfect, well balanced (good mix of pop soul with more "fusion-like tracks", rythm and romance), this cd only has one defect : not enough airplay. And for the same reasons as always, unfortunately. To me, very close to five stars and a MUST if you like not only the Anita Baker, Al Jarreau etc. like thing, but generally speaking, good music."
