"This album is soooo intense and it should be, Ringworm is a ridiculously heavy band. 11 songs in under 26 minutes of pure mayhem and destruction. This recording sounds amazing too! (thanx to Bill at MARS) The "we're heavy but you'd never know because are guitars sound like an annoying misquito and the drums sound like a 3-yr old kid tapping on a desk and the vocals are muddy and the bass you can't hear" equation usually found in hardcore albums DOESN'T apply to Ringworm's Birth Is Pain recording. From the opening riff to the last scream of a woman being butchered you FEEL this record. The vocals consume the listener's mind like brain cancer, the guitar rhythms scrape away at the listener's flesh, the guitar leads are the war cry and the drums are that extra kick to to the head once your opponents on the ground(just to be cocky).GET THIS RECORD OR YOU WILL HATE YOURSELF."

"Ringworm rules. They are one of the all time best Clevo hardcore bands. Great mix of late 80's period NYHC w/ 80's thrash. Think Killing Time mixed w/ Exodus. If you're into tough, fast, angry hardcore. This is your bag. Forget about slick looking dudes w/ eyeliner on playing safe, friendly "hardcore"... this is the REAL DEAL 100%!"
