Fun interpratation on Appalachian music

"Call it blue grass, Appalachian or hillbilly music, Leah and Chloe have put together a debut album that is fun to listen to regardless of your mood. Armed with fiddles and banjos and accompanied by the occasional horn, the sisters sing songs that are traditional Appalachian music with a brightness that is missing in a lot of this genre of music. It is just plain fun to hear. I caught their act at a local festival where their energy and spunk (and cuteness) literally pulled people away from the main attractions. They were having fun and it was infectious. And that energy translates to their CD. From the opening banjo riffs of 'Greasy Coast' to the acapella finale of 'Tuli Tuli' the CD keeps you engaged and wanting to hear more. If you are new to this genre or want to hear how the younger generation interprets tradtional Appalachian music you can't go wrong with this CD. It is a winner."
