A little gem of an EP, full of varying styles.

"This is not your typical Robag filled experience, who is usually found blazing through minimal techno with an unadulterated blitz of beats. While hints of his erratic shuffling of techy beats are apparent, the drum n bass peppered broken beat, nu jazz hints, and ambient textures are all slight twists and turns from what we are used to from him (although he is certainly known to dabble in a little bit of everything).
Amazon's editorial writer hit the nail on the head when describing these tracks as "9 greats", as there certainly isn't a dud on this near perfect EP. The 14 minute ambient track to close the CD is gorgeous, a 360 degree turn from the glitchy breaks and broken beats that start off the upper half of the tracklisting. Be thankful for Robag cleaning out his musical closet and drudging up these almost lost gems.
This is well worth the EP price for a fine assortment of electronic tracks in innovative packaging. Unlike the incorrect photo currently shown here on Amazon, this comes in a nice cardboard digipak, with embossed artwork on the front. It also features one of those usually difficult foam prongs that the CD sits on, however this one is perfectly sized for the CD to fit on in an instant. Lots of similar digipak releases have come with a foam prong too plump and large, and I have actually cracked the inner ring of a CD before trying to get one of them on. Not so with this one. They've also added a nice touch where you can actually peel off the foam piece and underneath is a CD pocket slit, so you can just slide it in if you wish. A nice touch."
