CD Reviews

Underappriciated Genius

"Since his early days with the band Night in the late 1970's, Robbie McIntosh caught my attention as a truly gifted guitarist. Having watched his evolution through The Pretenders, Paul McCartney's band and endless session work, I would say this is one of the best things he has graced us with. This is simply acoustic music with as pure a sound as you will ever find. With the exception of one track it is entirely instrumental. Not that Robbie doesn't have a wonderful voice but this is really the man as he is.I have given multiple copies of this CD as gifts to people with a variety of musical tastes and each one has been very impressed. This is the perfect CD for early morning, late at night, well...I guess just about anytime you want some warm acoustic sounds. Thanks for another winner Robbie. We love you."
Completely Amazing

"One of the best guitar players of our time; in the album there are really really good songs. And, obviously, the guitars are incredible.

I looked for it in different FNACs (Barcelona and Paris) and also in New York, but the only way of buying it has been through Amazon.

This album contains the one piece I've actually bought it for, which is 'Thanks Chet'. Robbie used to play it in the McCartney gigs during the Off The Ground tour, and ever since I watched in on video I've wanted to have it properly recorded. If you wanna hear to some of the finest guitar stuff, buy the album."
