"I had never heard of RW until in NYC recently. Attended his sold out concert and fast became a fan. Subsequently purchased Ego. He is a terrific entertainer but listening only is entertaining and soulful as well.Highly recommend this young man's music."

"Good and bad on this expensive import. Robbie needs to decide what he wants to be when he grows up: pop legend or the next Tom Jones. I hope he goes for the latter, since he is his most charming when playing the balladeer and showman, instead of making very irritating dance mixes (the last two tracks are unlistenable). Robbie's medley with Tom Jones is incredibly entertaining and shows that he'll be able to cash in in Vegas show business once his pop star days are over. The punk rock chorus of Back for Good is another highlight. Angels acoustic version is so much more emotional and memorable than the pop/rock ballad version--the orchestra heightens the sadness of the lyrics. Cheap Love Song is just a fun pop song."

"The ego has landed is great. Robbie is a terrific entertainer. There aren't any "weak" songs on his CD. I highly recommend it! He's also extremely adorable!"
More fun with the master ...

"Just wanted to echo everyone else's praise, because this is a fabulous disc. The cover of "Back For Good" is alone worth the price and would be worth much more -- if you like Robbie, know the song, and haven't heard that track, for Chrissakes, buy this record! Other tracks are lots of fun, too, especially the Pet Shop Boys cover."
He Only Gets Better

"Being from America, I am fairly new to the Robbie Williams craze that is apparently happening all over the world (After he releases "Angels" here, America is sure to be part of that craze too), but he is fastly becoming my favorite artist. I bought "The Ego Has Landed" and loved ever inch of it. When I found out about "Angels-Rarities" (including the much buzzed about Live "Back for Good") I knew I had to buy. And I'm so glad I did. His acoustic version of "Angels" makes it even more of an endearing song - which I didn't think was possible. His live recordings are phenominal and prove he's voice really is that great and he's not...er Ricky Martin (anyone ever heard him live?). But the one surprise was "Falling in Bed (Again)." Who knew Rob had this 60's beatnik side to him? I love his blend of spoken words with the echoing reverb while he sings the chorus. I can't wait to get my hands on more of his imports. Bravo Rob!"
