A Great Disc But Buyer Beware

"This is a fantastic disc of a great live show by a seminal Texas artist. He gets better with time. Others comments bear this out. I'm writing about this disc being rated as SACD for Super Audio CD. I have ordered 2 labeled a such and have gotten 2 regular CDs. I checked the Robert Earl Keen website, Koch records, and [...], a super audio reference site. There is no SACD of this disc. It does not exist. A faulty bar code on the package causes it to come up as being an SACD. It's a great disc and well worth buying, even if it isn't SACD. Maybe someday."
One of the bests....

"Robert Earl Keen is not just one of the best Texas singer/songwriters, he one of the greatest in the world. And his ability to put on a great live show is proven in this cd.
"No. 2 Live Dinner" is one of my favorite cds. It's got all the great REK songs on it, "Gringo Honeymoon", "Dreadful Selfish Crime", "I'm Coming Home" and "Five Pound Bass". Plus it's got the hilarious holiday tune, "Merry Christmas From the Family" and the song Keen is best known for "The Road Goes on Forever". Also on the cd is Keen's story of how Willie Nelson and the Highwayman endedup recording that song, which will keep you laughing!!!
This is packed start to finish with great songwriting, whether it's the fast pace "I'm Going to Town" or the slow ballad "Mariano" It's a great d that any true music fan will enjoy!!"
