Great straight ahead jazz

"Robert Jospe gathers togther a band of relatively unknown but very capable musicians on this outing. They all lay down some great grooves propelled by Roberts excellent drumming. I saw this band in DC at Blues Alley and was very impressed by the way they played off each other and Robert. The Michael Brecker tracks are a treat but these guys stand up well enough on their own. This drummer led jazz band is tight and swinging hard and deserves more notice."
