It is a trip back in time, with many old standards, some I could have done without (like The Kiss Polka). The backing vocals are a bit overdone, bordering on cheesy, but overall the cd is alot of fun and I recommend it for nostalgia fans and fans of Robson and/or Jerome." They were in popular series in the 90s, I believe it was called "Soldier, Soldier". One of the scenes called for them to sing at a Karaoke club in either Australia or New Zealand. A couple of session musicians were hired to do the actual vocals for the scene. During a break in rehearsals, they took the mike and went "live" witn one of the numbers. The rest of the cast and the production staff were so impressed with their talent that the sesison musicians were canned forthwith and they did the scene themselves. It was so good that the production company back in the UK was inundated with requests for any recordings. This album was the result. Buy it! It is worth every penny at any price. Too bad they've never been released in the states..."
