"Rocio is not my favorite singer, but this disk couldnt have been done better for anyother. I can tell without doubt this is a jewel of music.



Her interpretative skills are marvelous, Rocio deserved to be listened by many Broadway producers, and listen her own versions of "I dreamed a dream" "All I ask of you" and believe me this is a disk to listen thousand times and enjoying each of them.



This is a disc commited to make covers of "Memory" "I dreamed a dream" "Send it the clowns" "Song in the sand" "People" "Dont cry for me Argentina" "All I ask of you" and many musical icons



If you don't know Rocio, this is the best way to get to know her, if you know her, and you haven't heard the disc ... you will be convinced of her skills with this disc.



I got this item like a present, and I wasn't really excited, it took like a year form me to hear it, now I can recomend you "No pido nada mas" "Un sueño alguna vez soñe" and "Que entre el bufon" like the most delightfull songs of this musical jewel"

"Ms. Banquells did an amazing job in this CD, released approximately in 1990. She is on her prime vocally though in some songs (especiallly in Dont cry for me Argentina), her voice sounds a little breathy, maybe becuase of the fact that she was pregnant when she recorded this album and she was not able to support from her diaphgragm as she usuallly does. I have heard other recordings of her doing this Evita song and she had done a better job before. Her tecnique is good as always: her voice round and full. Her dramatic abilities come across very effectively. The best pieces in my opinion are Memories, Send in the clowns, If Ever I would leave you, Song on the sand and I dreamed a dream. If you are not familiar with Ms. Banquells, this is the album to get acquinted with her wonderful voice, one of the best that Mexico has exported to the world. This album, by the way, got the Best Album in 1990 (?) award by the NYC Show Business Critics."
