"I came across this CD when checking out Groundation's webpage. I love everything they've done, and was checking to see if there was a new CD in the works. This lead me to Rockamovya. I followed a few links, listened to a few samples and within seconds I was hooked. Rockamovya rocks!
This CD has a great vibe for it. It will be familiar to Groundation fans, but will also appeal to a wider audience, people not necessarily familiar with Reggae. The music is fantastic - wild, funky, inspiring... the sort of music that makes you want to dance.
I am always a leery of "side projects", but this one works at every level. Big up to the Rockamovya crew. Now I'll keep my eyes out for future releases from both Groundation and Rockamovya.
I highly recommend this CD, not just to Reggae fans, but to music lovers everywhere."
Holy crap this rocks

"A truly brilliant modern reggae album. Groundation are great, just sometimes a little too hectic and progressive. This hangs on old school grooves, but lets rip in controlled way. Properly fantastic. Red rose is the best groove since Burning Spear."
Groundation and more....

"Groundation fans will surely love this album and it's very much a roots reggae sound similar to the parent band. What makes this one extra special is that legendary reggae drummer Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace (star of the classic film Rockers) adds his one drop beats. As well, jazz funk guitarist Will Bernard adds a sweet guitar sound reminiscent of mid to late 70's reggae classics that will keep you coming back for more. Jah Rastafari!"
