"Both of my boys (ages 2 and 5) LOVE Rocknoceros! We have the great pleasure of seeing them in concert periodically, but the CDs are in the car or in their room constantly. We fight over tracks... the five-year-old likes Dear Abby. The two-year-old wants Blast Off and mom and dad can't get enough of The Metric System and Pluto. You -- and your kids -- will find yourself humming and singing along in no time. Rocknoceros is simply STELLAR!"
Little kids like good music, too.

"Seriously, when I was a little kid in the early 90's, my favorite albums were my dad's records by the Who, the Beatles, and Boston. I couldn't have cared less about Raffi and his ilk. Why? Because while I might not have been grown-up enough to grasp the intricacies of Pete Townshend's lyrics, Tommy was a million times more fun to listen to than "Baby Beluga". Children's music just seemed like it was dumbing everything down for my sake. The musicians didn't seem to understand that while I was down with lyrics about counting and brushing my teeth, I also wanted the music to be interesting. And these kiddie singers used acoustic guitars almost exclusively. Why? When I was 5, I thought electric guitars were the coolest things since the Ninja Turtles. They seriously just didn't get it.
Rocknoceros gets it."

"We picked this album up at the release party and put it in the van's CD player on the way home. That was three weeks ago, and the kids still won't let me take it out! We now have all the songs memorized, and even the two-year-old sings along. My six-year-old and four-year-old sons are really into all the space songs. Music-savvy parents will recognize various genre influences and appreciate the music and lyrics on a different level, so I actually don't mind listening to it day-in and day-out. I've even caught myself listening to it when the kids aren't in the car, or singing "Days of the Week" to myself without it driving me crazy. Definitely something the whole family can enjoy!"
