"The stupit title of this album is the only thing bad about this record I really do not know what the title means but it contains probably Rodney Crowell's best songs for the most part there are great songs that have been out of print for a while like I ain't living long like this, and Please Remember me (Rodney's version beats Tim Mcgraw's any day) it is just a great cd full of great songs for a good price."

"Rodney Crowell should be spoken of in the same breath as Bob Dylan & John Lennon, Leonard Cohen & Tom Rapp, Joe Ely & Ray Wylie Hubbard, Eric Andersen, Townes Van Zandt, Jackson Browne, John Stewart & Guy Clark, Van Dyke Parks & Phil Ochs or anyone else you'd like to insert in this long list of gifted & brilliant songwriters. Why he isn't is a true mystery. My God the talent this artist is !!! Run don't walk to your nearest music store & buy this CD to begin with & then get everything else."
Prepare yourself to smile........

"At some point during a really great cd, I begin to smile. I smile because I am enjoying myself and because I realize that I will listen to this cd many more times, thus knowing that my money was well spent. This is a wondeful collection of music that I can not compare with anything. I have never listened to anything quite this good except for maybe John Prine's Anthology. All the tracks have their high points and most tracks are quotable like,"Let the picture paint itself and it'll be alright....etc." Listen to this more than once before judging it...my wife loves Kid Rock...she now loves Rodney Crowell as well. Go figure."
