"Roger Hurricane Wilson knows how to perform AND produce a live CD--with years of performing small juke joints to huge festivals, up and down the East coast, throughout the Southeast, and Midwest, he finally got around to recording one of those performances on this, his second CD. Clean, spontaneous, the musician/producer are clearly in charge & pull the audience right in. He includes several originals on this CD, Caught in Between and You Better Think Twice--great lyrics and melodies--he understands what the Blues are all about. Hurricane Blues is included on this album as it was on his first, it's a different take, but just as impelling--recently folks who were buying his later release's after a live show were also picking this one up after seeing and hearing his jaw-dropping performance of this track. His interpretation of Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On has a slower pounding blues beat to it--it's a great surprise to complete an intimate, gather round and listen up folks, concert!"
