Im very proud of this cd, my father did all the percussion on track #13. Kudos to the Smithsonian for regocnizing the beautiful and moving music of the chicano movement & for putting out this cd, which will now be in the archives for all generations. There is some mean guitar in the opening track, "Yo Soy Chicano." I wish I could play like that. I wish I could sing like that. This is inspiring music for the Chicano liberation movement, something everyday people really took passion from back in the day. An oldie but a goodie. I haven't heard the rest of the album yet, but I'll try to get it for our campus radio station. Great educational music. Whoa! Yeah!"
